We are seeking dynamic individuals with BSc / MSc / Ph.D in technical disciplines (ideally optics, physics, semiconductors, materials science, but highly motivated candidates with backgrounds in mechanical/electrical-engineering/chemists are welcome to apply). After joining our team (Permanent Contract) you will work in a multifaceted role encompassing sales support, product quality assurance, and customer service.
This position, based at company headquarter in Montbonnot (near Grenoble & the French Alpes), offers the unique opportunity to engage directly with customers and the sales team, ensuring technical needs are identified and met through expert product demonstrations and quality assessments. The Application Engineer supports the entire sales process of the company and report to the Sr. Director of the Applications. Candidates with PhD’s and/or 3+ years of semiconductor experience are preferred.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Customers support
- Assure continuous support of company tools install base at customers located primarily in EMEA territory.
- Act as trainer of final users
- Identify needs and develop corresponding solution based on company portfolio.
- Co-work with customer group organization to assure proper functionality of tools
- Sales support
- Execute competitive DEMOS for customers and create related reports
- Identify customers’ technical needs.
- Support Sales team to promote the company products portfolio
- Review technical specifications with customers
- Product quality
- Qualify tool functionalities according to technical specifications
- Execute the Source Acceptance Test plan and document the outcome.
- Report nonconformity and contribute on quality assurance of products.

- Contribute on innovation and validation of new solutions
- Provide feedback during design review sessions for all new and existing development activities
- Fluent in English, French, and Italian as a plus.
- Available to be temporary relocated to support fix-term projects in partnership with customers
