Join our multidisciplinary Engineering team to enhance our mechanical design capabilities for the development and industrialization of high-precision measurement systems.
As a Precision Mechanical Engineer, you will be instrumental in the industrialization of complex equipment for the semiconductor industry. You will be responsible for the successful execution of assigned projects, adhering to objectives (specifications, study schedules, performance, costs, deadlines) and technical requirements (functional specifications, testing, validation). Your work will focus on ensuring reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive the progressive industrialization of proof-of-concept designs into finalized products, ensuring timely delivery within budget and meeting specified performance criteria at our clients’ sites.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our technologies and product development processes, advancing the technological excellence of UnitySC.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities and manage the replacement of obsolete components in our machines.
- Collaborate closely with the innovation team to develop innovative solutions and contribute to the company’s mechanical expertise.
- Integrate final industrial constraints into design phases to support production and maintenance activities, ensuring efficiency for these teams.
Your profile
Qualifications and Skills:
- Higher education degree (minimum Bac+5) with a high level of expertise in mechanical design.
- Extensive experience in developing or integrating new technologies.
- Proficient in SolidWorks 3D CAD and have basic knowledge of technical data management software (PDM) as well as integrated management systems (ERP).
- Knowledgeable in mechanical structures, including welded structures, sheet metal work, and machining of metal and plastic parts.
- Skilled in designing and developing pneumatic/vacuum circuits.
- Basic competence in opto-mechanics and positioning systems (linear, rotary tables) within the field of industrial vision.
- Enjoy applying in-depth scientific knowledge to solve complex technical problems.
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of optics, mechatronics, and experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.

What you’ll do
- Assisting the R&D teams in developing test benches and/or prototypes necessary for proof-of-concept projects.
- Industrializing prototypes using internal resources or in collaboration with our international partners.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our equipment.
- Supporting the customer service team with sold equipment.
- Studying, analyzing, and integrating specific customer requests for new projects.
- Managing technical data and creating assembly, installation, and calibration documentation.
