Mr Mathieu NOEL, Product Line Manager for Metrology solutions at UnitySC, will present a paper during the MEMS World Summit, the 11th and 12th November 2019 at the Hilton Munich Park Hotel.
The paper subject will be “Technologies development driven by MEMS challenges”.
Montbonnot – France, October 15, 2019
Author : Mathieu Noël received his master’s degree in Quantum Physics applied on microelectronic and nanotechnologies from the University of Montpellier (France) in 2013 and got another MB in Business Unit management this year.
He started as intern in FOGALE nanotech the same year and became Applications and Service engineer until 2015. After a year in Taiwan as Customer Operation supervisor, he joined Unity-SC in 2017 as Customer Application Manager. From end of 2018 until today, he is Metrology Product line manager.
You can already read below an abstract of what we will be treated during this conference :
In the past, MEMS were used to develop nice-to-have products. However, industry 4.0 is now placing them in the spotlight: they are ensuring human safety in its core (pacemaker) or by human/object interaction (car collision sensor, airbag…). Moreover, they become a main player into consumer market such as smartphone, automotive or gaming. MEMS processes are now balanced between cost and performances, which leads to a high-quality process control. In this regard, needs for inspection and metrology are more than required. Besides, as they are becoming products with their own processes and materials, constraints are appearing. Finally, most of industrials actors had to adapt their control solution from microelectronic designed solution. UnitySC is placing itself as a MEMS and Advanced Packaging dedicated solution provider on inspection (high resolution and full 3D characterisation…) and metrology (multi-technologies platform…) wise.
